On 24 September 2009, Grant Witheridge, director of
Catchments & Creeks Pt Ltd, was awarded the inaugural Stormwater Industry
Association of Queensland – Neville Gibson Award for Services to the
Stormwater Industry.
This award acknowledges Grant’s contribution to the stormwater industry
through his development of numerous technical publications use throughout
Queensland.
Neville Gibson, of which the award is named, was a long-time member of the
Stormwater Industry Association’s executive committee, acting as the
Treasurer. Neville was one of the longest serving officers of Brisbane City
Council principally he worked as a stormwater engineer.
